Book Review – A Course Called Scotland

Tom Coyne’s newest book offers historical tidbits and stories of the golf courses, laughs, interesting characters, insight on what makes Tom tick and how he plays throughout the two months http://www.tomcoyne.com. He even plays some links courses in England and Wales. TC tries to find the soul of golf and he shares my traditionalist slant. He finds special courses that resonate more than others and lists them at the end. Tom and I have stayed in touch since his great book on Irish golf, A Course Called Ireland. I learn much from him and it helps Athlone plan for our golfing clientele and our own Verma Cup group. A splendid read.
