Sound of Music…on the golf course

While playing a Kelowna, BC golf course yesterday I encountered music being played on a golf cart not once, but twice by groups playing behind us. This was a first and I found it intrusive. I escape to golf courses for its tranquil setting and to get away from computer clacking and the noises of everyday life. Sounds I want to hear are from birds and the ball falling into the cup, not Justin Bieber or the latest cut from Lady Gaga. I imagine that music on carts will continue in popularity to attract the younger crowds much to my chagrin like ball hats being worn backwards. Is music on a golf course a pet peeve to you other golfers?
