Cancun Golf and Strutting Peacocks

After finishing our IAGTO sponsored golf familiarization tour round on Mayakoba in Cancun, Mexico our group briefly observed the President of Mexico playing a shot on this same course. What symbolism with Mexico Tourism Board’s efforts to promote golf tourism and not just all-inclusive resorts with sun, Coronas and activities (not that there is anything wrong with this scenario). I later saw colourful strutting peacocks at the Iberostar property. Hmmm…if President Trump could just get together with El Presidente on a beautiful course like Riviera Maya, Paraiso or Mayakoba they might be able to resolve their problems.
