Pebble Beach Drive in the Canadian Desert

As I drove up Pebble Beach Drive in Osoyoos, BC I knew we were in a unique spot. A two minute drive would have us at the U.S. border. Although this country is so different than Canada what is common is the Sonoran Desert. I peered at two good Osoyoos Golf Club courses with green tarps covering greens. In a few weeks retirees would be golfing in shorts. This is the only desert in the Great White North. Osoyoos has a beautiful landscape and wineries are plentiful in the region. Mountains glisten and it was warmer down here than Kelowna an hour and half away. Another great reason to visit beautiful BC.
