Walk or Cart Path Only

After playing back to back rounds at terrific Harbour Town Golf Links, SC with my best friends last weekend, we were able to compare how golf should be played-walking-and one of my pet peeves-cart path only. By far we all agreed that walking with the forecaddie’s help was a superior golfing experience. Even the quality of forecaddie was better. You feel the pulse of the land, think more deeply about the shot and you don’t have to drag three clubs with you. We took power carts because we needed to get to the airport on time. But take the exercise when you can and play like those do on the ancient linksland.
