Vinyl and 18 hole golf

Vinyl records have made a comeback. Is it because they remind people of their rebellious youth or that the sound seems more real? Will 18 hole golf become the vinyl way of playing the game with 6-hole and Topgolf entertainment now accelerating and trying to push this out to pasture? My sense is links golf will continue to grow in interest for the older generation as we want to embrace the past. Walking a golf course old school, playing courses in less than ideal condition. Kind of like the static or skips of a vinyl record on the White Album. Not perfect but personal. Digital and new does not always mean better.
