Aussie Golf Chat and the Red Baron

“We saw a bear at Nicklaus North this week”. I smiled with the thought of this truly Canadian golf experience. Garry and Rosemary were our guests for dinner travelling on a two month golf trip from Hawaii to Seattle and throughout Western Canada. The friendly Australians enjoyed Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna overlooking Lake Okanagan. Garry and I argued over whether it was the Canadian flyer Roy Brown who shot down von Richthofen or an Aussie machine gunner. A rowing shell sitting above us brought back his rowing memories. Face to face interactions allow for deeper connections and fun conversations. Don’t forget to get out there.
