Japanese golf plus, plus
When I was volunteered to make a three minute speech on behalf of global golf tour operators to Japanese tourism boards and suppliers earlier this month at JGTM, it forced me to crystallize my thoughts on the country’s benefits. How about the beautiful golf courses that offer remote control buggies and/or a female forecaddie and two separate golf greens on each hole? Or, the civility of a golf round with a mandatory lunch between nines. Exceptional food (wow); exploring Buddhist shrines, riding bullet trains, savouring Mt. Fuji, exemplary customer service and the courteous bowing. The world will have an up close view at next year’s Tokyo Olympics including golf.
