As I peered up at Seve Ballesteros’ old home from the opening hole on Real Golf de Pedreña earlier this week I thought this was a special pilgrimage to make. Thanks to Erik from Basque Experiences we met Agustin, the congenial GM and friend of the late Seve. He took us on a grand tour of this historical course built for royalty and smiled when telling old Seve stories. It was cool to envision the charismatic one honing his magical golfing skills on and off these fairways in northern Spain.
