Caddyshack and SCTV

Tin Cup, Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack. These are great golf flicks from the past. I read the recent book about Caddyshack and it was terrific. SCTV is mentioned (Canadians of my vintage loved this program). National Lampoon and Saturday Night Live are in there too. Ted Knight seemed to be the only one not partying. You find out why Bill Murray and Chevy Chase didn’t like each other and what made Cindy Morgan nervous. Caddyshack was not the big hit at the start. It tried to capture the fine success of Animal House (who forgets Belushi’s, I’m a Zit, Get it). I know you will want to watch this funny film again but not the sequel! Now sing along to Kenny Loggins, I’m Alright and watch the gopher dance!
