A Good Walk Unspoiled
Are you appreciating being outside (if you are allowed) now that the tectonic plates of the world have shifted? My morning stroll in our local, BC park offers new meaning. I usually think about all the golf travel itineraries, my aging mother, how to solve problems, life’s challenges and chat with those walking dogs. Now it is more about appreciation of breathing clean air, listening to quails flutter in front of me and dreaming about walking a beautiful links or parkland course. Simple things will be more cherished once we clear the other side of this disruption. Take time away from digital devices and alarm. Think less about yourself and be kind to others, express gratitude for good things you do possess like close friends and family and always remember to say thank you. The new world that is forming will demand more humility and less braggadocio.
