Bias of Top Golf Course Lists

Put on your critical thinking cap when viewing golf course lists. Recent GOLF Top 100 Courses in the World definitely have a U.S. and UK slant. No. 2 Canada and No. 3 Japan are given short shrift and have 5 total. These two countries combined have 4600+ courses. No Banff Springs. Come on! Devil’s Cauldron, a bear staring at you, the iconic hotel, majestic mountains and great design by Stanley Thompson? No Toronto Golf Club (Colt), The National or Coppinwood (Fazio), Royal Montreal. Canada does a poor job globally to brand and promote our beautiful golf courses (Cabot’s good). Are those chosen the best because they are or because people know about them? Question the bias.
