Descriptor Golf

Golf is morphing into adjectives. This great game traditionally meant 18 holes to me and was based on what you shot. Simulator golf, FootGolf, mini-golf, 9 hole golf all have their places. If it gets people out to have fun that is great. Now there is popular TopGolf. I find this really entertainment with some golf shots off mats before retreating for a Bud with friends. Not convinced that means they will turn to the traditional game of golf. ‘Golf” to me is 18 holes on a course played outside with a metric of score. Growing the game will spark new ways to get people into the sport. But biking, hiking etc. will challenge for time.
