Golf in Southern Spain, including the legendary San Roque, led by CPGA Professional, Jim Goddard

Enjoy warm, sunny skies, superb golf and great Spanish Cuisine!

This year, the Cordova Bay World Golf Tour, led by Jim Goddard CPGA ,travels to the resort of Almenara in Sotogrande as their base for the duration of the tour. The golf will be wonderful, but no doubt they will enjoy the local hospitality as well as some fine food and drink. Nestled within a privileged enclave just 20 minutes from the Gibraltar airport and 50 minutes from Malaga and Jerez airports, Sotogrande is also only 30 minutes from Marbella and offers easy access to the fascinating cities of Seville, Granada and Cadiz.

Transferring from Malaga airport, the group will travel in VW Transporter minivans (or equivalent) to the 4* Almenara Resort. Located in the midst of a golf course, Almenara has 148 rooms and its layout allows for all of the rooms to look out on the course, the gardens or the Mediterranean.

A full breakfast is included each day. The tour is 10 nights duration. From the resort they will have a perfect base for daily trips to some outstanding golf courses all within a drive of 20 minutes or less. Two rounds are included on the Almenara resort course (pictured above) which is very pleasant and always in great condition, as well as the newish La Reserva which is agnificent. Classic courses like San Roque (Old) and Sotogrande are also on the rota.

The region also offers excellent local scenery including an attractive port with old architecture, concealed roadways and plazas filled with restaurants and cafeterias, as well as shops of all kinds.

Please note this event is a gents tour only.  Cost is $2895 per person including all taxes.  There will be an additional vehicle rental fee payable on arrival based on the total number of participants and form of transport.
