Rory and the Raptors

No, this is not a new 50’s style band. However, Rory and hopefully the Raptors can sing Queen’s, “We are the Champions”. There was a love fest this past weekend in Hamilton for Rory. He flirted with 59 on the last day and “only” settled with a final round 61. Canadians enthusiastically cheered for him and want our national Open to be seen as worthy again. He experienced “We the North” attending the exciting Raptors game (a Canadian invented basketball by the way). The luck of the Irish and Northern Irish continued with McDowell draining a tricky 29-footer for a coveted Open Championship spot and Lowry had a tremendous event. Pebble and Portrush coming up!
