There are seven international gourmet dining options, all of which offer very good food. The market grill is particularly good, offering outstanding Argentinean beef cooked over charcoal. To relax between rounds of golf at Cocotal (see our blog review), the resort’s signature Spa Paradisus is a two-story, 8,611 square foot, Zen-like respite.

The Palma Real Reserve enclave within the resort is equally luxurious, but tends to cater to families with children and is a 10 minute walk from the beach. We did find that the swim up pool at the end of your small garden was terrific. Also, a small cabana sits in each garden, so that you can enjoy a rest in a covered canopy and keep cool with the ever present breeze from Bavaro Beach.
