As I listened to my 80’s mix of new wave music, the catchy song of Video Killed the Radio Star played. Hmmmm… I thought did Digital Kill the Real Golfing Star? Virtual reality, golf simulators, digital devices and low attention spans are gunning to replace 18 hole golf rounds. But in today’s world where radio plays its role alongside YouTube, real golf and golf travel have its place among this new wave of experiencing golf. I just think “golf” means different things to separate generations not just 18 holes. So, what flavour of tune do you like—The Buggles or a band like Arcade Fire?
