What makes St Andrews special?

| |

Is it a stroll across the Old Course’s rolling links? How about staring off to West Sands Beach where Chariots of Fire was filmed? Or what about soaking in the town’s history and dropping into a famous haunt like the Dunvegan? Golfers’ eyes mist when thoughts of visiting the Home of Golf appear. I will be there in a week’s time as a guest on a golf familiarization tour before attending Scottish Golf Tourism Week at Trump Turnberrry. I remember my first visit with the Verma Cuppers in 2008 and staring out from the Rusacks Hotel onto the land. It blasts your senses. I hear the bagpiper already.
