Or what about soaking in the town’s history and dropping into a famous haunt like the Dunvegan? Golfers’ eyes mist when thoughts of visiting the Home of Golf appear. I will be there in a week’s time as a guest on a golf familiarization tour before attending Scottish Golf Tourism Week at Trump Turnberrry. I remember my first visit with the Verma Cuppers in 2008 and staring out from the Rusacks Hotel onto the land. It blasts your senses. I hear the bagpiper already.
