Elusive Hole-in-One

Have you achieved one or several? Although I saw one of my shots painfully lip around the hole, I have not and my shoulders slump. Is there any rhyme or reason why someone gets one and another does not? I have heard stories of those who play very little and have scored such an elusive feat. I have seen a good friend ace No. 9 at Craigowan from the tee and witnessed another one from greenside at No. 12. Who would have thought after jugging your shot that you may bankrupt yourself when all the golfers come out of the woodwork and say, “Hey, I was on the course and heard you aced”. Congratulations and can you buy me that Johnnie Walker Black Label!” Something is not right about this equation. Thank goodness that hole-in-one insurance was spawned to reduce stress. I am jealous for those who have been fortunate to get one. What is your hole-in-one story and have you seen others do it?
