Smashing Heads in Banff

|

While speaking with Dave at Banff Springs Golf Course earlier this week it reminded me of the cart tour we took of the course two years ago. We passed the Tunnel Mountain 9 holer, the famous Devil’s Caudron par 3 and scoped out this Stanley Thompson jewel shadowed by the iconic Banff Springs Hotel and surrounded by the Rockies. Dave told me the chewed up chunk of fairway I saw was the result of two elk smashing heads. Now that is Canada and a cool reason why golfers come to this majestic location.
