Special Scottish Golf Courses
Loch Lomond is a beautiful parkland course and you need to know a member to access this very private golf club. It just had a multi-million £ upgrade and those whom have played it rave about the quality. Carnegie Links at Skibo Castle is private but a small group may be able to get on with the right process. Members don’t need tee times. Madonna and Mr. Ritchie got married here (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is a terrific film)? Golf Royal Dornoch nearby. And then there is Ardfin Estate. This magnificent property on Jura has recently opened up to higher end golfing clientele and excites me. We are sending our first group next year. This is exclusive use and involves at least one ferry ride, a long lunch break between nines if you like and an opulent estate to experience. The links course is supposed to be spectacular. One will want to compare its fine whisky with its world class brother next door on Islay. If you have a chance to visit and/or crack the codes to be invited to these gems, you will want to say, Yes Sir and Thank You!
