While younger golfers embrace alternative golfing experiences like Topgolf and 9-holes with gadgets, the older generation desire old school golf trips. Links golf, whisky tours and bus rides with an ale in hand while bantering with their comrades. Golf groups are willing to invest in golf trips because they see their tremendous value. Technology is maybe used on the coach but not on the course. Retirees now commit to finding the time to make their treks. I see first timers contact me and they are excited to escape the day to day world and be with their friends or family. Golf travel will continue to rise.
