AC/DC on Craigowan Golf Course

The distinct Australian band’s song rumbled out of the Bose speakers hanging on the power cart starting on No. 2 at my old home course of Craigowan. The Commish and traditionalist usually frowns upon this intrusion. But being with my friends and playing a favourite course of mine, I took it in stride. The future? Probably coming sooner than later. Did it affect my play? Probably. It seemed to act more like the ceiling fan that makes noise until you get used to it and then falls into the background. Would Mozart’s concerto be more soothing? Hmmmm…I like the peace and quiet. However, I sense the young generation will demand music on courses.
